Being justice-impacted reshapes lives, families, and futures. Having seen the challenges of rebuilding after incarceration, we created Matters of the Heart Inc. because we believe healing and transformation are possible for everyone.

We’ve witnessed individuals rise above their past when given the right support, compassion, and opportunities. We’ve also seen the pain of rejection and the power of a second chance—someone believing in you when no one else does.

At Matters of the Heart, we provide mental health support, substance use treatment, and reentry services to help justice-impacted individuals heal, grow, and regain control of their lives. We focus on healing trauma, empowering people beyond their past, and creating a supportive community.
